Did you know that UBE does more than pass out condoms and talk about safer-sex!? Yes, it’s true!

UBE exists to enable young Black same-gender-loving
men to fulfill their greatest potential for good.

What that means is that we’re here when you need us!  Here are a few things we’ve helped with in the past…

The college admissions process, homework, resume writing, job search, finding temporary and long-term shelter, mental health issues, relationship issues, finding friends and much more!

If we can’t help you with something, we’ll connect you with someone who can!

Don’t hesitate to learn on us, as we’re our brothers’ keeper!

United Black Ellument (UBE), a program of Resource Center, is dedicated to building Dallas’ community of young Black same-gender-loving men. We are creating new ways for young men to come together, meet, socialize, and  support each other. We provide alternative social events and opportunities for same-gender-loving men to promote our diversity, well-being, and strength as individuals and as a community. We create a safe environment to talk and encourage each other about issues that are important to us, including safer sex.

Resource Center is the primary lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) and HIV/AIDS service organization in North Texas. The Center offers many LGBT services to the community and operates one of the largest LGBT community centers in the United States. The community center is home to a variety of community organizations and serves over 50,000 people each year through its programs and services.
