National Voter Registration Day 2015

NVRD 2015

“National Voter Registration Day”  September 22, 2015

In 2008, 6 million Americans didn’t vote because they missed a registration deadline or didn’t know how to register. In 2015, we want to make sure no one is left out. On September 22, 2015, volunteers, celebrities, and organizations from all over the country will “hit the streets” for National Voter Registration Day.

National Voter Registration Day is a huge national effort to get as many people to register to vote as possible. The goal is not to advocate on behalf of a candidate or party, but to make sure that people have access to voting. -SOURCE

United Black Ellument will be hosting a Voter’s Registration drive in celebration of this national holiday, on Sept. 22 at 3 – 9P.M.! The event will be held at the UBE community center, located at
3116 Commerce St, STE C, Dallas, TX 75226.

Feel to free to stop by if you need to register to vote for the first time or update your address. We will have someone available to assist with and answer questions about the registration process.
